On 30 November 2024, Azad Foundation, in collaboration with the National Foundation for India (NFI) and iPartner India, will proudly host the third Kamla Bhasin Award Ceremony. This prestigious event is dedicated to honoring the enduring legacy of Kamla Bhasin, a feminist icon whose work has been instrumental in advancing the women’s movement across South Asia.

The Kamla Bhasin Awards recognize and honor women (cis/trans) practitioners of non-traditional livelihoods and men (cis/trans) enabling a gender-just ecosystem by working with other men and boys. This year, the awards will once again spotlight those who are breaking patriarchal barriers, challenging norms, and leading the way towards a more equitable world.

The ceremony will bring together a diverse audience, including leading feminists, activists, civil society members, and Azad Foundation’s network of women drivers and young leaders. The event will highlight the powerful journeys of this year’s winners, whose dedication and impact are creating waves of change in their communities.
