District Lead-Programmes will oversee the implementation of Azad’s key programmes in North Delhi including Women with Wheels, Feminist Leadership, Azad Kishori, and Men for Gender Justice, ensuring quality, impact, and alignment with organizational goals.

Experience Required: 5 years and above
Salary: 45,000- 50,000 per month

About Azad Foundation
Azad is a professional feminist organization working across social and religious divides to enable resource-poor women to empower themselves by engaging them in viable non-traditional livelihood options. Azad is committed to breaking patriarchal boundaries and structures so that women can exercise control over their lives and live with dignity. This is done through transformative capacity-building programs based on adult learning principles around the self and the skills needed for non-traditional livelihoods. Azad also engages with both men and women in their communities to create a safe and supportive space for development. The organization operates directly in Jaipur, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata and partners with other organizations in Indore, Bhubaneshwar, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow.
Role Description – Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage Azad’s all programs in North Delhi.
- Facilitating all four Programmes and respective teams (Women with Wheels, Feminist Leadership Program, Azad Kishori, & Men for Gender Justice) in planning and execution of their Programmes as per the objective and approved plan and budgets & ensure programme quality is maintained.
- Managing, analyzing and optimizing the utilization of budget.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen programme execution.
- Identify capacity building needs of team & ensure required interventions.
- Plan and organize campaigns for gender equality that encourages women to join NTL in communities.
- Participate in campaigns organized by other organizations on the similar issues
- Ensure the development of related IEC, required for programme implementation.
- Facilitate monthly meetings, quarterly programme reviews of the implementation of all programme and present learning analysis to the leadership.
- Ensure that all training programmes in the centre are consulted in clean, hygienic & learning oriented atmosphere
- Holding teams of diverse people with flexibility and openness to new learning
Professional & Educational Qualifications
- Graduate/Post Graduate degree social work/sociology/gender studies/political science/Development studies
- Good Knowledge of Hindi & English, excellent communication and presentation skills.
