Stories of Change
Training of driving faculty focused on enhancing technical and empowerment training skills for driving faculty members across centers.
Regular Training of Trainers (ToT) is conducted for driving training faculty members from Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Chennai to continuously enhance faculty skills and ensure effective training practices. The training centers on adult learning principles and effective methodologies, aimed to improve both technical and empowerment training skills. Radha, a driving faculty member from Delhi, shared, “In the training, I developed skills to become a more effective trainer. Moving forward, when teaching navigation through GPS to trainees, I plan to utilize tools such as video tutorials and visuals/pictures to ensure a deeper understanding of its usage.”
Training for the community engagement team focused on developing conceptual clarity for Azad’s programs, objectives, and strategies.
The Trainings for the Community Engagement Team aim to enhance understanding of socio-economic position of the communities where Azad works, its community programs, their objectives, and strategies. Maya from the Azad Kishori Program in Jaipur shared, “Interactive activities like role-play helped me understand and reflect on how to better engage with the community during surveys, campaigns, and women’s meetings.” This training equips participants with practical skills to effectively implement community engagement strategies and improve program impact.
