We work towards bringing non-traditional livelihoods with dignity to as many resource-poor women across India and abroad as possible. To achieve this, we work with like-minded organisations to incubate our flagship Women on Wheels programme in new locations. With three programme partners already successfully providing training and employment opportunities in professional driving to women in Indore, Ahmedabad and Bangalore, we are looking for more partners in locations with strong market potential.

Is it you?

We are looking for organisations with experience in working on gender related issues, whose primary agenda includes women empowerment and/or livelihoods. You need to have a firm belief in the participation of women in non-traditional livelihoods, particularly ‘driving’, and capacity to incubate the programme in your city. We will provide capacity building and support to establish and implement the programme.

THE PARTNERSHIP HAS ENABLED US TO EXPAND FROM FIVE LOCALITIES IN INDORE WITH LIMITED RESOURCES INTO MORE THAN 100 LOCALITIES AND STRENGTHEN OUR WORK IN PROVIDING ACCESS TO JUSTICE AND EQUALITY FOR WOMEN SUFFERING VIOLENCE.’ SAMAAN SOCIETY, INDORE
